Due to the large number of sizes and options most products are manufactured to order therefore delivery times do vary depending on the item, production cycles, and for beds your location. A guide of typical lead times are listed below. If you are ordering both a bed and linen please note these are usually dispatch separately.
Beds
Mattresses and Divan Bases – Made in the UK from 2 to 10 weeks
Upholstered Bed Frames – Made in the UK from 4 to 10 weeks
Bed deliveries are usually made by a two man team and booked in by text or email. Initially a date will be given, if the date given is not convenient, please contact the delivery company ASAP and arrange an alternative. A time slot is texted the day before.
Please use the “Shipping Estimator” to calculate a delivery price from the items in your shopping cart. However please note all delivery charges quoted at checkout are subject to confirmation, if a surcharge is applicable to your order Longbeds will contact you to confirm the additional cost before processing your order.
We can also deliver to Jersey, Gurnsey, Ireland, The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight and the Scottish Islands please feel free to contact us for a quote.
Assembly and Disposal Services
Assembly can be chosen on the product page when you add the item to your basket for all divan bases and this includes removal of all packaging. If you require your old bed or mattress to be removed when your new bed is delivered there is an option at checkout where this can be chosen.
Linen & Bedding
Most linen and bedding is made to order, therefore delivery times vary depending on the items ordered. Typical lead times are as follows;
Polycotton – Made in the UK from 2 to 4 weeks
Standard Cotton – Made in the UK from 2 to 4 weeks
Peter Reed Cotton – Made in the UK from 2 to 6 weeks
Hollowfibre Duvets and Pillows – Usually in stock for prompt delivery.
Duck Down Duvets and Pillows – Made in the UK from 2 to 6 weeks
Mattress Protectors – Made in the UK from 4 to 6weeks
There is a standard courier delivery charge of £8 for most linen and bedding orders however surcharges apply for certain areas. Please use the “Shipping Estimator” to estimate a delivery price from the items in your shopping cart.

When orders are dispatched an email is sent confirming the courier and a tracking reference. If a mobile phone number has been supplied a text message will also be sent on the day of delivery.
